The Not for Sale Campaign comes to the University at Albany, NY
On June 14th, 2013 SUNY Albany will host representatives from the Not for Sale Campaign who will do a presentation about consumerism and slavery as it exists in today's world. The focus of the conference will be centered around child trafficking and forced labor. The presentation will include real examples of the work that the Not for Sale Campaign and its partners are doing to end slavery, what we can do to make sure that we are not supporting products that have compromised another person's freedom, and what we consumers can do to advocate for corporate social responsibility.
JUNE 14, 7-9 pm at the SUNY Albany Performing Arts Center, Recital Hall
Pre-sale tickets will be available for reservation here for a reduced price of $10 for adults and 5$ for students.
Tickets at the door will be available for $15 for adults and $10 for students with an ID. CASH ONLY.
This presentation is not highly recommended for children under 12 as it will contain mature content, however it is left to the parent's discretion.
